The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives and also the way we travel.
To reassure our welcome guests about the safety of their stay, we are happy to illustrate the measures we have taken to provide you with the best safety conditions:
- Possibility of "automatic / remote" check-in: it will not be necessary to go through our reception; if you wish, upon your arrival you will find the keys of your accommodation, previously disinfected, sealed in a plastic bag, in the socket of access to the accommodation itself. For the necessary registration operations, you will be asked to send via e-mail, WhatsApp or other system, a photograph of the identity documents of each individual guest. Those who will take care of the registration will need a simple "visual remote" verification of the actual identity of the guests.
- Cleaning and disinfection: at each customer change, in addition to the usual cleaning operations with normal detergents, we disinfect the surfaces with alcoholic or bleach-based solutions (depending on the surface) according to the indications of the health authority.
- Ozonation to every guest change, proceed to sanitize the whole accommodation by ozonation environments.
We would then like to indicate the ADVANTAGES offered by our type of accommodation:
- Independence: the accommodation is completely independent, with direct access from the outside. Our structure has no rooms for common use.
- Dedicated covered parking, near the entrance to your accommodation.
- Insulation: you will be the only guests of the structure; availability is limited to one accommodation, therefore there will be no other tourists.
- Large garden in EXCLUSIVE use: we provide our large garden with a small playground to guarantee you moments of absolute relaxation!
In a quiet position, surrounded by the green Veronese countryside, less than two minutes from A4 highway exit of Sommacampagna, lies the nineteenth-century rural court "La Palazzina del Prete", within which is our structure.
The accommodation we have available has been created inside the old farmhouse, in front of the noblest Manor House, and separated from it by a beautiful farmyard; the building has a singular peculiarity: a small circular tower "protects" the south / west side.
The apartment consists of a large living room/kitchen, two pretty "strung" bedrooms, as they used to be, and a very special private bathroom, made inside the tower, complete with toilet, bidet, sink and shower.
So leave behind the chaos of the city and the frenzy of the lake for your overnight stays and come to experience the thrill of being awakened by the cockcrow or by tapping the green woodpecker at out the Residenza Torre Antica.
Surrended by the green peaceful of the Veronese countryside, the apartment is perfect for a family looking for a convenient solution both for the city (Verona can be reached by car in just 12 minutes) and for the lake (Lazise and Peschiera about 15 minutes ) but without the frenzy of mass tourism.

Set in a 19th-century rural court at the foot of the Sommacampagna hills, Residenza Torre Antica offers rustic-style accommodation.
Less than two minutes from the highway exit, at the Torre Antica you can stay just 15 minutes by car from the center of Verona or Garda Lake with its theme parks Gardaland, Caneva World, Parco Natura Viva, SeaLife.
Immersed in the quiet of the countryside, the Apartments are composer by an equipped kitchen, a living room, and a porticoed area and a large private garden where you can relax when the weather is milder.
Free Wi-Fi is available for all guests as well as private and covered parking, and bike rental for quiet walks through the fields
The apartment has two bedrooms, one double and the other with 2 single beds.
The decor, in keeping with the rest of the context, is in a rustic style.
A specificity to report is that the two rooms are "infiltrated" or to access one must cross the other, according to the peasant tradition.
The apartment has a spacious living room with a very well-equipped kitchen.
Available to our welcome guests, a refrigerator, stove and gas oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, a large battery of pots, pans ...

Lake Garda
thanks to it’s mild climate it’s a favorite destination in all seasons. On its banks, full of oleanders, olive trees, vines and cypresses, picturesque villages arise, each with its own little marina, but also large downtown full of life.
Garda Lake is an ideal destination both for nature lovers and for sports enthusiasts (cycling, wind-surfing, fishing among others). Garda Lake will satisfy all your needs.
The villages closest to our structure are:
Peschiera del Garda, on the south bank, completely reachable by canals, is a fortress town, easily reachable at about 15 'from Sommacampagna using the nearby A4 hightway exit on the Milan-Venice or in just 5' more crossing the gentle morainic hills of our region.
Lazise, which enjoys a magnificent location on the eastern shore from which to enjoy beautiful sunsets over Lake Garda, is a small and elegant village of medieval origin, also ideal for beach lovers. It is just 20 minutes' drive from our holiday home.
Borghetto (Valeggio sul Mincio)
Defined by many as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, it stands right in the middle of the river Mincio: mills, waterfalls and typical houses make this environment full of charm.
Borghetto can be reached easily from our hotel with your car in less than 20 ', and for bicycle lovers, there are several itineraries that serve to advise you to reach this enchanting gem.
Don’t forget to appreciate the Valeggio Tortellino! a culinary specialty of which a party was dedicated, the feast of the knot of love!
Castellaro Lagusello
It’s a part too of the association of the most beautiful villages in Italy and certainly deserves a short visit, perhaps tasting the delicacies of the territor
in one of the many typical tavern. The village stands on a small hill overlooking a lake that has the particularity of having a heart shape.
Even Castellaro Lagusello is easily accessible from our holiday home and is ideal for a half-day trip.
The cities of art .....
Verona, the city of love!
Verona means William Shakespeare, it means Romeo and Juliet (very famous the balcony in Via Cappello) but it also means Roman amphitheater, "Arena", the true symbol of the city, a monument to visit and experience, with the Opera season , the great international concerts, and other great events.
But many others are the places to visit in Verona: how not to be fascinated by looking at the Church of San Zeno Maggiore, a magnificent example of Romanesque architecture, preserves inside a famous work by Andrea Mantegna; or the wonderful Piazza delle Erbe, the real living room of Verona city, perfect to allow yourself a little break in the numerous cafe or enjoy a good drink in the shadow of the Torre dei Lamberti; and how not to mention the wonderful bridges, the stone bridge and the Scala bridge, the castles (Verona has just two! Castelvecchio and Castel San Pietro).
Verona is not just art, it is also good food and above all good wine!
It takes 20 minutes by car to reach the center of Verona from our apartment! The quiet countryside just minutes from the frenzy of the city!
If you want to reach Verona by bike, only 20 km separate the ‘Residenza Torre Antica’ from the Arena do Verona! We will be happy to show you the best routes according to your needs!
Mantova, one of the most beautiful cities in Lombardy, is only 30 km from Sommacampagna and can be reached from our holiday home in just 30 'by car.
Even Mantova is easily reachable by bike: a long cycle path leads from the charming town of Peschiera on Garda Lake, right in the center of Mantova along the banks of the Mincio river.

Its historic center, enclosed by the bends of the Mincio river, so large as to form lakes, is very small and lends itself well to a day trip.
In Mantova you will find splendid palaces (Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Te), beautiful squares (Piazza Sordello, Piazza delle Erbe), castles and beautiful churches, the most famous, the Sant'Andrea’s Basilic was designed by Leon Battista Alberti.
Typical of Mantova is then the system of Renaissance porticoes with its shops, patisseries and countless cafe.
Very suggestive also from the naturalistic point, especially in summer when the surface of the lakes is covered with the blooms of the lotus flowers; It is possible to take a nice boat trip in the "Riserva Naturale Valli del Mincio" between reeds and water lilies in the myriad of canals or simply enjoy a relaxing walk.

Despite being a little further away, if you have a few days at your disposal, you can not miss a visit to the beautiful Venice.
Our advice is to reach it by train, starting from Verona, whose station can be reached from our accommodation in just 15 ', or from Peschiera del Garda station, always in 15-20' by car
Amusements...
Gardaland, the most famous amusement park in Italy, is very convenient to reach from our accommodation! In just 15 minutes you can reach Gardaland and enjoy its beautiful attractions; ask at the reception the best way to reach Gardaland, we will provide useful advice.

Also the Movieland amusement park and the Canevaworld water park are only a few minutes away from our accommodation! Often we also have useful brochures as well as discounts on the entrances to both parks!
The little ones will be delighted to visit this beautiful wildlife park with a large variety of animals. The Natura Viva park also offers a safari zoo for sure fun for children and more. The zoo is very easy to reach from our structure! And often we have discount coupons to give to our welcome guests! Ask at the reception if you do not already find them in your accommodation!
Even the Parco Giardino Sigurtà is definitely worth a visit! It is possible to visit the park on foot or with a beautiful train. And how can we not let ourselves be tempted to test ourselves with the brand new labyrinth?
The park is located in Valeggio, just 10 minutes from our structure!

Riding at the Sporting Club Paradiso ... we have had many guests engaged in competitions at the riding center: in fact, there is a comfortable and ample covered car park where you can easily admit the trailer of your beloved horse
The Sporting Club Paradiso is in fact tormented in Caselle di Sommacampagna, just a few steps from our accommodation!

Cycling
There are many possibilities for beautiful bike rides, on dedicated or not.
The nearest cycle paths to our structure are those of the Mincio river, which connects Peschiera del Garda to Mantova, the Adige one which from Verona leads to the Adige valley, the other one ,of the springs, that connects the river Mincio
Our staff can offer you a series of tested itineraries to discover the beauties of the territory. Ask at the reception too!
For our guests we provide free of charge to those who request up to 4 bikes to fully enjoy the charm of the surrounding countryside!
Fishing
From Residenza Torre Antica you can reach different fishing environments to undermine your favorite fish:
the river Mincio, for carp, barbel, pike, bass and torpedoes
the Adige river especially for its beautiful marble trout
Garda Lake for pike, perch, bass, carp, eels, catfish ....
